Putong-Agent is closed-source software, but it includes and uses a number of third-party open-source components. We respect their licenses and hereby acknowledge them and fulfill our attribution and license-inclusion obligations.
1. Full Inventory Ships With Each Release
Every release package includes a complete third-party license inventory (NOTICE / THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES) listing each component’s name, version, license and copyright notice, together with the necessary license texts. This page is a summary; if it differs from the NOTICE shipped in the package, the shipped NOTICE governs. You may also request it at the address below.

Exact versions vary by release; the versions recorded in the shipped
NOTICEgovern.The window engine is provided by the operating system and is not redistributed: the Windows build uses the pre-installed Microsoft Edge, the macOS build uses the system WebKit. Neither is part of this software, so neither is listed here.
3. License Types and Compliance
The third-party components we use are predominantly permissive (MIT / ISC / BSD / Apache-2.0). For Apache-2.0 components we retain their NOTICE statements; for the rest we retain copyright notices and full license texts.
One strong-copyleft component is present, and we describe it separately as the GPL requires:
- MinGit (Git for Windows) · GPL-2.0-only · bundled with the Windows installer only
- Shipped as the unmodified official release artifact (the official zip, extracted as-is) under
mingit/in the installation directory; the build verifies the sha256 published on the official release page, and both the version and that checksum are recorded in the shippedNOTICE. - It is invoked as a separate process (
git.exe); it is not linked, merged, or otherwise combined with our own code into a single work. Our own code remains proprietary closed-source software. - Its license text ships in the package:
mingit/LICENSE.txt(together with the license texts of its own components underucrt64/share/licenses/). - Source availability: the shipped
NOTICErecords the official source location (the Git for Windows release page); you may also contact us under §7 and we will provide a source copy within a reasonable time.

Apart from that component, release packages contain no GPL / AGPL / SSPL or other strong-copyleft components. If you find a potential omission, please contact us and we will address it in the next release.
4. No Modification and Replaceability
Except where a license permits otherwise, we do not modify the source code of third-party components; MinGit is an example of unmodified redistribution. For any component whose license requires replaceability, we keep it separate and replaceable and do not break that property through inlining or static rewriting.

If you need the full license text, copyright notice, or (where applicable) the means to obtain source code for one or more components, contact us and we will provide it within a reasonable time.
6. Fonts Used by This Website
This website self-hosts the Latin typeface Instrument Sans (SIL Open Font License 1.1). The full license text ships alongside the font files at /fonts/OFL-InstrumentSans.txt. Chinese text uses system fonts and is not redistributed by this site.
